My MindWorks experience:

The first time I tried MindWorks was at the Shaklee Conference in Long Beach.  A fellow Shaklee New Englander was sitting next to me at the start of the day of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. workshops and had just picked up her new bottle of MindWorks.  Since it was going to be a long day, she asked if I wanted to try one with her – and of course, I did.

I didn’t really notice anything until just before the noon lunch break.  With the exception of just one quick bathroom break, the first 3-hours were non-stop but went by very quickly.  We were both surprised when it was lunchtime.  There was no break in my concentration for those first 3-hours, no lack of focus, and no restlessness waiting for the lunch break to kick in.

After lunch, the afternoon session brought the second MindWorks moment, when again, the 3+ hour session went by quickly, no loss of concentration or loss of focus; able to follow presentations and slides without drifting off from the normal “after lunch brain fog”; able to absorb all the great nuggets of information without “missing” the good stuff despite the long afternoon session.

It wasn’t until 10-days later that I started on my own bottle of MindWorks and started noticing the effects of this supplement.  It was the third day on the product and I had a pile of paperwork to sort through which took about 3-hours.  Normally I would start this kind of office task and soon be easily distracted with dozens of other things that always demand my attention.  This time I spent the full 3-hours focused on the task at hand and completed it without giving in to any of the normal distractions.  It wasn’t until much later that day that it dawned on me what had happened and I recognized just how much focus I had while completing that project.

Over the next few weeks, I noticed time and time again that my thought processes were becoming more and more focused and clear, that I was able to better communicate with clients, in both my consulting practice and in my Shaklee business. 

At about the three week point I was attending a local business meeting and I again had to credit the MindWorks with my ability to focus and effectively communicate during this 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. time period.  This group consists of many very successful consultants and I often find myself struggling with wording my input as concisely and clearly as I’d like, especially at that time of the morning.  That morning I found myself able to follow all the conversations easily, was able to contribute to the discussion in a clear and effectively manner, and felt much more focused than I normally would at a 7:30 a.m. meeting.

The more I use MindWorks in conjunction with mind-challenging games, the more convinced I am that it’s making a huge difference in my day to day memory retention, focus, and concentration levels.  Almost without exception, I can say that my days are by far much more productive than they have ever been – and at age 65+, that’s pretty darned good.
